You've been waiting, you've been wondering, and finally, here it is:

http://www.lulu.com/content/2107842

The Young Writers Literary Journal! This is the first publication of its kind by a Young Writers site. In fact, it rivals in quality any other such publication put out by a writers site not only thanks to Adam who made an awesome cover, but also to all the poets and authors who contributed! Thanks to them, the quality of the material is exceptional. This is an amazing piece of work.

If you would like to buy it on Amazon, it will be available there later this month.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. And do not overpay on shipping! See the shipping thread in the Lit Journal forum for info.

It looks so pretty!

And Brad - just read your preface. Simply gorgeous. It's succinct, to-the-point, intelligent, eloquent. I can't think of a better way to start off.

Congratulations to everyone who's in the Journal! It's amazing seeing our names together in a table of contents. Very Happy

I'm excited!

I was babbling about it in my lit class and someone said. "Ohmigosh, you're published. Your like, Famous! I want you signature"

ME: Uh. No. But OK.

So I may have some people to buy it as soon as I can give them the link. Very Happy

heh, like I said in the chat room last night, I may have some big news about this, after which you could indeed say that you're "famous." If you're interested, I'm going to write a blog entry about it in my blog here soon, but don't expect any announcements for at least two months, and possibly longer.

Also, the Journal is already doing alright. Seven sales in the first twelve hours, which while not much, is nonetheless impressive for a small writing site such as this. I'll keep people updated with the sales as much as possible. ~200 is the important number as that is the breaking even point.

I wrote a message to everyone on my face book, and I thought I would put it here in case any one else wanted to use it as a "guide" to tell their friends/family about the Journal!

Quote:
The Young Writers Literary Journal is now available for purchase! Yes, it does have my first published story it but it also has a lot of stories and poems by many other amazing writers from the ages of 13 to 23. I know some of these writers personally, and trust me, they're really good!

You can buy it here: http://www.lulu.com/content/2107842

I know the guy who put this together and I am also apart of the publishing "company". It was put together by the owner of the Young Writers Society: http://www.youngwriterssociety.com which I am a member of.

It will be on Amazon.com in about two weeks but if you buy it from Lulu (the above link) we will get more revenue, and the authors could possibly get paid. We need to sell around 200 copies to break even, so if you are interested in this please buy one! Please pass this on to anyone who you think might be interested.

If this is big enough we will be putting together another one either in the summer or winter. If you are interested in how you could submit artwork, poetry, or stories to the Journal, just message me back and I will tell you all that I know. If you have any questions about the Journal or the web site, just send me a message!

The last paragraph is a bit optional. I thought it would confuse my friends if I just linked them to YWS, haha.

Hopefully this will get some people to buy it!

I got mine today! How fast was that?

It looks superb I must say; it made me quite tearful seeing my name in print.
