*~Senna~*

Senna couldn't stop and think about the kid she had run into when she heard a highheeled shoe tapping on the floor.

May as well face the lion. She slowly turned around and looked at the tall cheerleader that never let Senna forget that she thought she was ugly, an outcast, and an indian.

"Can I help you?" Senna asked slowly. A cruel smile lit the cheerleaders face.

"Ya, go back to your tepee and never come around here again." She sneered,

"When you can convince my dad too, I'll be more then happy to never see your ugly face again." Senna growled spinning around and walking away quickly. She had better find a place to hid cause that had been the stupidest thing she had said all year. And it was probably going to get her in some serious trouble.

Samuel

Samuel still felt the pride bubbling in him as he walked casually down the hallway. It had been so easy and that grotesque, fat peacock, Mrs Petch couldn't pin him. As if in response to his rebellious thoughts, down the hall waddled a large woman with spectacles hanging by a little chain around her lard-covered neck.

Neck? More like an extension of her chins.

Everyone around him was rushing to class, exchanging inane pleasantries or similarly inane insults with one another as they pushed through the halls. But Mrs Petch had her beady, brown eyes directly on Samuel as they passed each other. He couldn't wipe the self-satisfied smile off his face, seeing the Welfare Officer in the hallway just made it all the more stimulating.

As he approached the double firedoors to the Physical Education area, he glanced behind him. He was the last, of course.

Before he turned back, though, his eye caught suddenly on some figures approaching.

-Isabella-

"You can call me Bella though," I added as we walked. The bell wouldn't ring for another five minutes, at the least, so we had plenty of time. I examined the boy carefully, trying to understand him.

His eyes, such a dark blue that you could naerly drown in them, held a decent amount of depression. I wondered what had happened in his life, for only a person with a somewhat torturous past could hold that much emotion in their eyes. I moved on, noticing his physique. I realized that I was allowing my mind to thing more feminine thoughts than I was used to, and quickly forced my gaze away from his body.

"Why did you want to help me?" I asked, looking at his face curiously. I was not use to any amount of kindness, especially from a boy.

- Sol Olsen -

"Samuel! Oh, thank God that I found you!" Sol cried and rushed over to his friend. Samuel scrutinized his recent bruises and pulled back.

"Did Gregory do this to you? Again? Seriously, I'm going to kick his - "

The bell cut off Samuel's response. Sol frowned and said, "I can't report him, although I know that I have to. It's just... he's so big. When he gets out of detention, I'm his next victim..."

"It'll be fine, bud. I'll make sure that he and his idiotic gang doesn't pick on you anymore, Okay, Sol?" Samuel playfully ruffed Sol's short blonde hair.

"Yeah... thanks. I guess. I'll see you around then..." Sol produced a small smile and turned to head towards History.

John looked at her and thought for a moment, "Pain is not something I like to see, besides, what king of person would I be if I just let them hurt you."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

(Sorry, don't have much.)

Isabella

I blinked a few times, letting his words sink the rest of the way in. Then the full power of what he said hit.

"Wait...let them hurt me?! Are you insane? The only reason they were there was because I beat the shit out of the big one." John stared at me for a moment. "If you hadn't of stopped it, all three of them would probably be in the hospital by now."

I realized how insane I sounded. True or not, it wasn't smart to advertise the fact that I could've killed those guys if I wanted it. It made me an oddity. Granted, my grades did the same thing. I was the only kid in my last class who had finished the worksheet we had been given.

I moved my gaze away from John, silently waiting for his reaction.

*~Senna~*

Senna managed to slip into the P.E. room before she had been caught and before the bell rang. She slipped on the bleachers and clutched her bag to her chest looking at the other students. She saw the kid she had run into earlier. She had felt bad about it, but she needed to get away. He was talking to another guy that looked older then her. She looked down at her knees waiting for the class to start hoping the day would end quickly and without pain.

"I see, then I apologize. I did not mean to make you upset." He gave her a faint smile which was rare for him. Something about her made him feel, better. "Even so, what would have happened if I didn't intervened?"

"They would be on the floor crying."

"True, but what would happen to you?"

"I, um, oh, I never thought that far."

"Not many people do. I call it a curse, but I can read the situation. Even if you could have taken them, something bad would have happened to you any way right?"

"Your right I suppose."

John smiled wider, She really didn't like to be wrong did she? "What class do you have now?"

"Gym, you?"

"Same."

"Really, I've never seen you there?"

"My schedule was changed a bit when I decided to take an elective."

Isabella

I nodded, and smiled back at him. He made me feel less....hostile, as most would choose to call it.

"How long have you gone to this school?" I asked conversationally. "I've been in this school system my whole life," I added.

(>.< sorry, short)

II - The Meeting

Samuel

Samuel propped his head on his hand, sitting idly on the bleachers as one of the PE staff entered the Gym. It was a big room, with similar colouring to the Student Welfare Office. Though with a few storage rooms off to the side, a glossy, probably waxed, hard floor, and basketball hoops to either end.

The Teacher was a man, extremely tall and burly, with short, black hair and rough stubble on his face. He sported a dumb, toothy grin and held a bag of clearly oval shaped balls.

Samuel's jubilance quickly faded, and as the rest of the class was gleeful, he and a few others miserably followed the parade out onto the school oval.

*Grrr. I had a big long thing ready to post and then YWS went down...*

- Sol Olsen -

"Wait! Wait for me!" Sol squeaked as he belted out of the locker room. His shirt was only half on and he struggled to insert his other arm. As he did so, he was pulling his black gym shorts up to his waist.

The gym class was slowly making their way towards the oval, and when Sol reached it, he was panting for air. He caught a glance of Samuel, who was in his class, and that weird Indian girl who had bumped into him in the hallway.

He struggled to keep his eyes away from her as she approached.

*~Senna~*

Senna didn't want to play AFL. She was always the last picked to a team, and the likely hood the couch would just be putting them on teams instead of letting them pick was unlikely. She left her bag on the bleachers and slowly walked down to where everyone was lining up, she had changed already.

Why...why this game? She wasnt bad at it, she just didn't like AF:. She was always the one that got knocked over, she never got the ball, and rarely scored a point.

Samuel

"Alright. Gregory and Sam, you're captains."

"Samuel, and no." Samuel said insolently.

"No?" The dumb grin left the teacher's face.

"I'm not playing this stupid game." His orange contacts stared down the tall, muscular teacher angrily.

"Yes you are." The teacher replied calmly. "Or you're going to see Mrs Petch."

"Fine." He said coolly, and turned on his heels to leave the oval. He could hear snickering, hollering of "nerd" and irritable moans of the fools who were itching to grope each other on the field behind him as he walked, without looking back, toward the Gym.

"Anyone else who isn't going to play might as well go with him!" The irritated teacher huffed.

Samuel furrowed his eyebrows, balled his fists, gritted his teeth in impotent rage.

Senna

Senna quickly ran and grabbed her bag then started towards the door. No way was she going to play. Not if she could just go sit in an office and do nothing. She didn't run after the kid, but she did walk quickly out of the gym. She felt relief as she walked through the door.

She clutched her bag when she heard more footsteps behind her. Hopefully no one would talkto her. Then she woudlnt' have to look like a stupid sheltered girl.

Hope it's not too late to join!

Name: Raimiele (pronounced Ray-me-L) or Raimi (pronounced Ray-me) Downs

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: About 5'6", long curly brown hair, athletic build, brown eyes.

History: Just moved into Canberra from well everywhere.... will edit more later....

Raimiele-

Raimi swung her car door open and looked at her new house. Her mother was already inside, bursting with happiness and unpacking. She shoved her keys into her purse and walked up the walk way and into the house. Her mother had been to the house a few times before and already done some decorating, this was Raimi's first visit.

"Raimi," Her mother called, "get ready, were going to head to the highschool in five minutes, we need to get you registered and signed up for all your extracurriculars."

"Mom, now?" She groaned slumping against the big oak door. She had always been bright, but it wasn't until middle school that people noticed she was exceptionally bright. That was when her father left. She was ten and already smarter than him. He couldn't handle it so he left. Her mother on the other hand, embraced her "gift" and began the torture cycle. They moved constantly, trying to find a good school and community so that she could get the best education, whatever that was. He mother forced her into after school programs, volunteering gigs, endless debate team meetings and WYSE competitions.

"Yes now!" Her mom emerged from an open doorway, pulling on her jacket, "You know Raimi, that just because you are smart doesn't mean colleges will give you a second glance. You have to have an array of extra curriculars, you need to be well rounded. I was thinking you could do a sport, maybe soccer? And we will get you signed up for debate team, WYSE team-if they have a WYSE team-, key club, school paper, drama, and then we will see about soccer."

"Mom, this place isn't like America you know. or anywhere else we've been? It's a whole different world over here. And I don't believe they call it aoccer." Raimi rolled her eyes and followed her mom out to the car. It was just after noon and she was suffering from jet lag and countless other things she refused to let herself think about. It was too short of a drive from the house to the school.
