I really found this fun when I did this on my own so:

OBJECTIVE: Write me a poem using the dictionary.com word of the day. This is the fun of it. I have written a poem using the word 'lissome' as it was the word of the day. It is found here..

DATES:3/7/08 - 3/31/08. Can be extended if needed.

RULES:
-Can be any length

-Must include the word of the day more than once

-The word does not have the be the main focus, although it should have some impact on the poem.

-Please post the link to your poem here.

-Please include the word of the day definition, the date that it was word of the day and your poem all in one post.

PRIZES:

1. 4 critiques

2. 2 critiques

3. 100 points or 1 critique

Runner up will be congratulated.

Please, this contest will not work unless we have AT LEAST three to four poems. This is not a hard contest, and yet it is extremely fun.

Go and write!!!

Word of which day, or does it matter? There will be quite a few to choose from....

I might just try it.

Yeah. It doesn't matter. But it has to be a recent word of the day. Not from last month. So, basically, it has to be the word of the day starting from March 7 - 31.

Yeah.

Today's word of the day is awesome. I forget what it is, but it means fate. Oooh! Mysterious!
