I have no idea.

But you could just make a page in the Writer's Corner that they could go to. ^_^

Another question (=P)

I can't seem to track down the thread with the rules on the current point system, but I don't remember seeing this so I shall ask: Is there a limit to how many points you can get in a specific forum per day? I think I remember seeing something about a limit...
More specifically, if there is a limit, does that mean that once you've reached the limit you can no longer post for the day? Or does it just mean you get no points for posting?

As the current points system stands, you get 300 at the beginning of each two-week period (I think it's two weeks? Grif, correct me if I'm wrong). There is no limit on how many points you may earn in any given time frame.

Also -- it costs 150 points to post a work, but you get 50 back by posting, so in the end, it costs 100 points to post. You still get 50 points max for reviewing others' work.

Does that answer your question?

It does indeed answer my questions on the points system. Though it looks like the problem I was trying to figure out is actually some kind of bug. >.<

>_> I have a question. I know I can watch topics, which means I get e-mails every time a topic is updated. Now, is there a way to set a topic as favorite or something similar so I will have it on a list of things to look at but without getting e-mails all the time?

Sleeping Valor ->> Go to 'My YWS.' Scroll down toward the middle where it says 'My Stuff.' You'll see all your watched topics once you click on 'My Favorites.'

Yes, I know. >.< But can I get it to stop sending me e-mails every time there's a new reply?

Yep. Just follow what I said above, and you'll see little boxes next to each topic to remove your watched topics.

However, and what I think you're really asking, there is currently no way for you to bookmark your favorites (so to speak) and merely have a list of them rather than receiving emails.

Yes, that's the one.

I know in my YWS it says 'view your favorites or delete your watched topics' <I kind of assumed this meant there was a difference between favs and watched topics. But maybe there isn't and I'm just confused...?

I noticed that there is a little spot down at the bottom that gives the name of the newest registered member, is there is a list somewhere that shows you the names of new users (or just a list of all users that can be ordered by the date they join)?

Yes! If you scroll down to the very bottom of ANY page on YWS (even a "post reply" page) below Bartemius, you'll see a bunch of links. One of them is "Memberlist" Click on that and you can either have it sorted so that the newest members are at the bottom of the last page, or the top of the first.

NOTE: I know this works for Default template, but I'm not sure about the others.

Hope this helps!

I was just about to write something when I noticed the way that it was set up. I am confused about the whole website, and would like clarification, please.

So when I post a story, does it go on a forum like thing where people post, and tear at my story? >.<

Is this a site where I show the start of my story, and you guys say what you think about it?

I don't understand how to set up chapters and such if the above question is not true.

Thanks for the help Very Happy

Uh, no it doesn't work like that if I understand what you mean.

It's like any forum, you post them! If you could explain to me what part--specifically--of the site is confusing you I would be able to explain it. Is it the front page, the navigation?

Keep in mind: for every story posted you should critique two things! You haven't reviewed anything yet, so you may consider doing that before you post your own work.

Here's an odd question with two parts:
1) Are users allowed to request to be banned?
2) If you did want to have yourself banned for *insert amount of time*, who has the power to do so?

=P I know it's an odd question. YWS had become a minor addiction for me (aka: major distraction) and I realized (having just remembered banning exists) that if I was banned, I wouldn't be checking for new posts every 5 minutes.
