I can't watch the trailer, because I have to download the latest version of quicktime, I tried once, failed utterly... But yeah, i've got the star wars books, before ep1, after ep1, and after ep6. I think the book's are better in some ways.

Yes, in this new one I guess they introduce Chewie. As well as some other characters vital to the story later on. I even heard they will show Luke Skywalker (as a baby of course)

I can't wait. When my family forced me to go see Robots with them, the commercial came on as we came into the theatre. I stopped in the middle of the aisle and stood there, mouth hanging open until it ended. Then my little sister grabbed my arm and made me sit down. I think I embarrassed her...LOL...

lol I know... I was sitting at home and my dad was flipping through the channels, all I saw was Yoda with a green light saber... I stumbled over the couch he was sitting on, yanked the controller out of his hand and turned back the channel and watched the how ever many seconds left of it. So far i've only seen that measly between-citcoms-and-other-commercials crappy trailer, but i'm confident i'll see the good one before it comes out.

I definitely am excited about the new one, but not that excited. Personally, I think the original three are better. They weren't so dependant on the technology, and they had stronger character stories. I also like the novels quite a lot. But really, I'm more interested in the new version of Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

Still, that trailor it so cool!

Everyone thinks the original three are better. But we have to deal with what we get today, and be it a half-decent plot with fantastically cool special effects, eh, whatever. I really really can't wait.

And that means we're not allowed to prefer the originals?

No what it means that more people like the newer because they like the graphics more than the older ones.

Now, now.. don't turn this into a debate and get it locked...

Some people just prefer the loud, booming war sounds and the almost-too-real special effects over the plastic lightsabers and the corny no-blood-dying.
(lol i'm exaggerating and i'm just teasing)

No, I think you misunderstood me, like, totally. I prefer the originals.

I just don't people should be less excited just because the original three had better character development and things.
