Darchoo, if you look on the other threads on the applications thingy, they describe what you do for each one.
I want to be a mentor, and I've contacted Meshugenah and Firestarter and still had no reply. Anytime soon? |

Mentors don't exist any more. I think you can only apply to be a greeter or an instructor (?). |

Yeah, I sent Mesh my application to become an Instructor a while ago, and still no reply.
Do you get a reply even if you are not accepted? I certainly hope so, because this waiting is killing me! >.< |

| This stuff just takes a while? You have to be incredebly patient and loving to the Admin staff. ^_^ You wouldn't believe the millions of things they are doing that never get seen. So wait a little while longer, and if you still haven't received a response, PM them again reminding them. Just don't sound impatient. XD |

It's at the bottom of the lit forum but it might be easier to just tell you briefly. The positions you can apply for are greeter (light blue) and instructor (lilac).
Then the ones that you can't apply for are Junior moderator (light green), Moderator (dark green), Administrator (red) and Distinguished member (orange). |

The names in orange are Distinguished Members, or retired mods (as answered earlier in this thread), but are they still as scary as mods and admins? What is their job exactly, their role in YWS?
