|
|
We're a new site looking for writers and bloggers to help us out by participating in our writing contests. Every 2 weeks we'll have a new contest up for you to participate in (by either writing or voting on submitted stories). We're a site that believes that the best talent out there should be given a fair chance to be recognized and then rewarded. We're a bit modest right now, but we're looking to grow with your help.
Our current contest is looking for authors to talk about their New Year's Resolution. If you have one, we'd love for you to share it.
Tell us about your New Year's Resolution and the story behind it and the highest rated story will win $50. Prizes will be available for second and third place as well.
Once you submit your story, we'll open up the entries to all the visitors of the site to vote on together. They'll decide together which story is the best and deserves the top prizes. We realize many of the problems and biases in the voting methods out there, and our system makes it a level playing field for everyone. It's about talent with us and not who has the most friends to vote for them.
Go ahead and submit your story before Jan 8 at http://www.uncliche.com/contests/2007122601
Or check out how our voting works and participate by voting on some really great Christmas stories we received and decide who wins first prize at http://www.uncliche.com/vote
UnCliche is devoted to giving unknown writers of all levels and walks of life a place to be recognized and to be rewarded for their talent. We believe it's the person with talent and not the person with lucky breaks with the best network who should be rewarded. Help us change that by participating and raising the stakes. |
