Hello, once again! It is a great honor to be hosting a second contest for the season. I hope to get many entries for this one. ^_^

What to do: Write a YWS 12 Days of Christmas. (i.e. Change "5 Golden Rings" to 5 of something related to writing or to the site itself.) Do this to all verses.

Guidelines: You will be judged on the following--

1. Must be all 12 Days. You cannot just enter 7 Days of the 12. It must be all of them. ^_^

2. Must be related to the site or about writing. (i.e. You can use "pencils" in one ; you can use "Mods" in another). Must be related. ^_^

3. Get creative!

Rewards:

1st: 4 of my critiques
2nd: 3 of my critiques
3rd: 2 of my critiques

All other contestants get one crit, so it's worth entering. ^_^

Deadline: Contest ends January 5, 2008. This is the Saturday after New Year's Day, and a few days after my other contest (Winter) is due. If it must be changed, then let me know. ^_^ I can be persuaded. Very Happy

Entries: You may post entries here or PM them to me if you do not want others to see it. If you PM me and you won, I will post it here with your permission. ^_^ Please use this format:

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping
10 Lords-a-Leaping
9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids-a-Milking
7 Swans-a-Swimming
6 Geese-a-Laying
5 Golden Rings
4 Calling Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
And a Partridge in a Pear Tree!

(Thank you for your cooperation!)

Please have fun with this. I'm welcome to questions. Ask if I didn't explain well enough. ^_^

Jabber, the One and Only!

Very good job, everyone! Judging was really hard, but I finally got the top three. Keep in mind that everyone's was very creative and I loved them all! Some of them made me laugh (my dad looked at me strangely XD). However, the top three for YWS 12 Days of Christmas are:

First Place: Gyrfalcon (4 critiques)
Second Place: Lucky Duck and Kitty15 (3 critiques)
Third Place: Crysi and Kyte (2 critiques)

There are a few ties. Even if your name is not on here, your entry was marvelous! Bravo to everyone! Very creative. ^_^

Keep in mind everyone, besides those who placed, receives one critique from me. ^_^ PM me with anything you'd like looked at. I will get to it ASAP.

Jabber, the One and Only!
