"A picture's worth a thousand words"
-Anon.
Premise: I want you to take me a picture. Any picture. A nature shot. A human-based shot. Powerful shots. Subtle shots. But I want you to take it. No copying and pasting off of the internet. This will hinge completely on the honor system, so there won't be any checks and balances.
Then I want you to write a story or a poem about the picture or what's going on inside of it. The poem may only be twenty-five lines and the story may only be 1,000 words. That's all a picture's worth, after all.
Formal rules:
-- Picture must be taken by contestant
-- Story/poem must be written about the picture
-- Ends January 15th
-- At least four people MUST submit, or this contest will be null and void on the deadline. Sorry.
Prizes:
-- 1st place: Three in-depth critiques (Quote by scotty: Kylan will probably drop in a find a bunch of stuff that God himself wouldn't notice) 
-- 2nd place: Two in-depth critiques
-- 3rd place: A critique

| Is the contest judged on the photograph and the poem/prose, or just the written part? Are they judged separately, or on how they work as a set? |

Well, I need to have some idea of who's in and who's not if I'm going to extend this thing. I sent off probably seven PMs and I've only gotten three back, one a negative.
