Okay, the competition is now officially closed and judging will commence shortly. If you have any late entries then pm me or one of the other instructors and we'll consider (and probably accept depending on how late it is) your entry. Winners will be announced at the end of November. Thank you.

Umm... just wondering: has this contest died or will it actually be judged?

I don't mean to be an annoyance, but I'm just kind of curious. Embarassed

It's been judged by three people, myself included, and I believe we're just waiting for the remaining judges, Ducksworthy among them, to show up. Kitty15 has been single-handedly working very hard to keep this thing alive among her other duties as jr. mod. However, I'm sorry that we've taken so long and hopefully we'll get the results and prizes out soon.

Right guys?

That's okay. I understand how it could slip to the back of one's mind.

I was just wondering what had become of it, thanks for clarifying. Very Happy

I'll make sure the results are posted later this week. If the judges who haven't judged yet don't get back to us in the next few days, we'll add up what we have so far and announce the winner. Sorry for taking so long.

Woah.

I wrote my story like a gazillion years ago.

Has this been abandoned or something?

Okay, the results are in.

First place and a prize of three in-depth critiques and 1000 points goes to Penguin.

Second place and a prize of two in-depth critiques and 750 points goes to Gadi.

Third place and a prize of one in-depth critique and 250 points goes to Azila.

Congratulations all! Points will be awarded immediately and the critiques will be awarded within a week of you messaging me with the links. They will be given by either myself or one of the other instructors/ recently promoted junior mods. Thank you for your patience and once again, well done!

Yes, pm them to me and you can read Gadi's entry - he posted the link on page two but Penguin's was sent in privately so I'm not sure if she wants to make it available for others to read. You'd have to ask her.
