Congrats, Clau! I thought your story idea sounded excellent, so I've been tracking your progress for a while. I can't wait to read the entire thing!

Wow! Congrats, Clau! ^_^ Are you finished with your novel, or are you going to keep writing on it?

Oy... It's no where near finished, which is the worst part. I'm around 55k now and I have a feeling I'll have about 20k more to write. If not more than that. It's ridiculous.

I know the feeling. I've only outlined about two thirds of this, and I'm over 84k. Still haven't finished with that outline. Smile

I did it! Woo!

Not bad for a first time NaNoer. Wink

Although my novel isn't anywhere near done. I think I'll give it a break for a wee while before I start hacking at it again. Very Happy

Fwah! *high fives Tillychan, Saint Razorblade, and Insomnia*

Well, I'm an emotional wreck now, but I did it. XD Unfortunately, I still have a good 10-20K left to go. Oh, well! Four days left. I'll make it work.

I'll join you, Clau! Let's bake brownies and have a party. Wink

Haha. This two day road trip to L.A. is the perfect getaway from my NaNo. I'll probably be back at it by Thursday, if not Wednesday evening out of sheer boredom. ^_^

It was a NaNo horror story: I reached over 47,771 words when typing at work, and thought that I could finish it at home, so I emailed the file to myself, and went home, only to discover that the internet was down at home! I was shocked and nearly spiraled into depression. But then I thought, "I don't need the rest of my file! I was at a chapter break, and I just need to subtract my word count from 50,000, type that much, and I'll get it!"

So I typed 2289 words, and added that to my word count I reached at work, and was overjoyed to have reached 50,060 words!

The internet was back up this morning, so I checked to make sure, and sure enough, there it was!

Yay you guys! Alrigh'.

My first Nano was a lot of fun. Of course, there were about a million other things I could have been doing, but hey, you can't beat that printable golden certificate .pdf, can you? And now I have another novel to edit, so yeah, it was okay.

Oh yeah, did I mention I had 100,058 words? YEAH!
