Heh, someone compared the piece I submitted to some book by Darren Shan (which I had never read). Is that a good thing? |

Thank you for everyone who submitted to the Journal! Incandescence is going through all the submissions, and you should receive a reply soon.
The Journal will be available via Amazon.com & LuLu.com come January 15, 2008, and be prepared very soon to see a lot about it! I plan on working very heavily on promoting the Journal during December, and I really think people are going to love it as the submissions we got were excellent. I think everyone is going to be really surprised with the depth of the talent of the writers in the Journal. |

| ^_^ I'm also going to want to hassle my local news paper. I'm pretty sure they'll mention the one acts--and how can you do that without mentioning the girl who wrote a play? so I want to bug them about this too, haha. |

| Thanks Adam and Suzanne! Very soon here I am going to be asking for the names of the local newspapers from everyone whose work was accepted. Then I'm going to send a copy of the Journal to the local paper as well as a letter that explains not only the Journal but also which local authors are included in it. |

I'm so forcing my school newspaper into it, even though I'm on the staff and we're not supposed to cover ourselves. This is a big deal, darn it!
Nate, thanks for giving us this opportunity. It's a dream come true. |

Hahah, well, From when I talked to Brad, he didn't have my submission.... XD I had to email it to him directly. So if you haven't gotten a response yet it may be that Nate's forwarding missed some things. For all those worrying, Email your submission to (again XD): Brad@youngwriterssociety.com
Although I don't know if he's just doing short stories or everything... @_@ |
