AetLindling, stick to the subject. We're talking about ads. Razz

Some of the writing sites that are advertized are legit and some of them are not. You have to be smart enough to determine which one is which. For example, Lulu.com has advertized here, and I have heard some very good things about them.

Anyway, I like them better where they were. I saw them better. Now, they sort of wash away. ^_^;;

I like the ads above everything! And the light blue color is cool.

This one made me chuckle:

Bet it gets hundreds of clicks. xD

It wouldn't let me attach it, gave me some funky error message. O.o

I found a few adds for the scam site poetry.com on the Usergroup board. It says $100,000 Poetry Contest or Publish Your Poetry and then some information.

I don't know if the "Click here if you are over 18" adds are good for the sight... obviously, I never clicked on one, but they're the only ones that annoy me. I don't know if you can control that or not... just thought I'd share.

The poetry.com ads are banned, but they always find ways around it by registering new domain names and new google advertising accounts.

With the 'over 18' ads, it's a gimmick. They don't point to anything bad.

Those are still bad and inappropriate gimmicks. XD

Some of them can be creepy.
