Yeah. I want the site to go faster.
This year makes me happy! For school we have a half day on the 31st, and I have the 1st and the 2nd of November off. I get to stay up until midnight to start, that means.  How awesome? |

It doesn't unless you write it in your location. Choosing a region shouldn't put anything in your profile, it just automatically subscribes you to certain things. I can be nice if you plan on going to any write-ins and such. I do it to see how my region ranks in turns of word count. |
