The results are in everyone and I'm glad to say from the pieces of work I recieved; there was a very high quality in each. It was hard picking the winner and such but it had to be done and I hope you agree with the results I have come up with.

Congratulations to the three who've reached the winners and you'll be awarded with points soon.

First place: PenguinAttack - 500 points
Second Place: Gadi - 250 points
Third Place: Myth - 100 points

Well done to these people and check out their pieces; they're great!

The furthest I am willing to stretch on the theme/genre is that you can do it on one particular colour if you want.

Other than that, sorry, I'm always one to create a challenge

Actually, scratch that.

You can either have the theme as "Colours" or "Sounds"

I know this makes it easier than before, but it'd be nice to see what results come up. Good luck everyone.

You might wanna edit the first post so that people know "sounds" is an option, too.

I might try this, but whooeee, 50 lines! That's, on average, 10x longer than most of my poetry. It'll be a challenge!

Actually I meant genre as in fantasy/sci fi/adventure/etc. I'm thinking about entering but so I might go for Other Fiction.

When does this end? The seventh?

I might try... but it'll be difficult what with all the deadlines I have now. Plus I never seem to be able to actually enter these - I always seem to forget about them. =S

I'll see if I can remember to give it a go though.

Hm, can we include things like touch though, as long as they're not a main theme?

Hmm.. Yes I don't see why you can't.. As long as one of the main themes are either "Sounds" or "Colours".

Maybe you could add different senses in, I don't know.

Good luck to everyone.

Quick Question:
Does it have to be all colors, or can there be a color for every one thing described?

Like, can I write a poem sort of like this:

"The door was ashen white,
Opening to a purple room,
Doorknob was emerald green"...

(Just an example)
