oh well. i'll talk about myself anyway.

I used to have an account on here, my username was Samara if anyone remembers me. *is hopeful*
anyway, my account was messing up so i made a new one, to clutter up the site with even MORE random stories and poems.
let's see, about me...
i like reading, writing, photography, hyper random people, running, surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, pretty much anything to do with the beach, my boyfriend, watching movies, road trips, hiking, and being stupid. i DON'T like video games, really really hot or really really cold weather, redundant rap music, really pessimistic people (everyone has a right to pessimism sometimes), deserts, cockroaches, and superficiality.

as far as what i like to write, the sky is the limit, all though most of the stuff i'm most proud of is fantasy-esque, but very relatable. i mean, its not just prancing unicorns and fairies; it's about kids and problems and broken families and homework and cliques too. so yeah.

some of my favorite books are To Kill a Mockingbird, the Circle Trilogy, the Twilight series, the Harry Potter series, the Chronicles of Narnia, Perelandra, Out of the Silent Planet, the Mark of the Lion series, and the Last Book in the Universe.

Hmm... Samara... sounds familiar, for some reason, but I don't think I've actually "met" you before. Welcome, either way! Or, should I say, "welcome back"? Very Happy

Whoa! You have a lot of favorite books! That's cool. I do, too. Razz I LOVE C.S. Lewis!!! Mr. Green I'm impressed that you've read his Space Trilogy. It seems like not so many people have heard of those books. Personally, I really liked them. Especially Out of Silent Planet and Peralandra. That Hideous Strength was kind of weird, in my opinion. Have you read that one? Which is/are your favorite Chronicles of Narnia?
Well, anyway, you sound like a cool person. Nice to meet you!

That Hideous Strength was INCREDIBLY weird, but i think that's partly why i liked it so much lol. Perelandra was just amazing. I read the first book about four or five years ago, so i don't remember much of it.

as far as the Narnia series goes....to choose my favorite book would be like choosing my favorite relative lol. i LOVE Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Horse and His Boy. But the Silver Chair holds a special place in my heart too, because Jill Pole is one of my favorite heroines of all time (right up there with Lucy Pevensie, Ginny Weasely and Luna Lovegood.) so that's difficult.

oh! another really good book is Airborne, by Kenneth Oppell. Ever heard of it? i think there's a sequel out now, called Skybreaker.

Hi. Samara definetely rings a bell...you may have been in a storybook I was in at some stage...or else I've just seen your name somewhere...though I have a feeling it was in the storybook forum. Either that or I'm hallucinating...ah well.
I only ever saw a cockroach once while away, 'cause we don't have them here to the best of my knowledge, and it was the freakiest thing ver....oh. Just thinking about it is making me shudder!
When you said you didn't like deserts, I read it as "desserts" and it was a very sad moment...but then it passes, so now it's all good. Anyway, taht's all the rambling from me for now.

Oooh! I like reading, writing, hyper random person (one might say I am a hyper random person - I don't have to type on YWS every time I say a word for no reason or have a spazz), running, surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, hiking, watching movies and being stupid too! Though I don't always try to be stupid. Sometimes I just....am. Lol.

So we sound kinda alike!
I LOVE The last book in the universe! Awesome book! Smile

So anyways. Moving along now...
You don't like desserts?! *Is aghast* I couldn't live without chocolate!
