"I believe we are all safe." Vince told her.

Zora put her hand on his shoulder. "Vince, why aren't we going after Joseph?"

"We can worry about him later, we already took from him what we needed." He looked at Eve and Corelle. "You two have fought well. Defeating a demon is a difficult task alone, let alone when there are two."

"Thanks." They both said.

"I would ask you for your aid in our quest, but we've all had enough excitement for one day. Take this time to rest, you'll need it for the battles that we will face in the future." With that, Vince flung his cape over his shoulder and left. He moved with such speed that it looked like he was flying. Celeste stayed behind because she couldn't go after him, and Zora stayed behind because she know Vince enough that he didn't want to be followed by anyone right now.

Corelle went over to pick up his coat. A small hand held it in front of him. He took it from Eve who stood with a smile on her face.
"What are you smiling at?" Corlle asked who was starting to grin himself.
"Nothing, nothing."
"Okay." Corelle walked towards Celeste.
"I think I know of a Gaurdian we can go after," Corelle said to her. Her face had a surprised look on it.
"W-What do you mean you know a Gaurdian?"
"Exactly as you said. I know a Gaurdian. You're not the only ones who know about the gates. And I have reason to believe that my old friend is still alive and is using them to live."

(Just a reminder, the only way you can find Vince is if he finds you first. So don't think about going after him to tell him about this new Guardian because he's long gone now. Just wanted to make it clear before somebody forgot.)

Celeste

"Okay then what do we do?" I wondered.

"I think we can handle this one," Zora decided. "Lead the way." Corelle nodded and together the four people moved through the deserted streets, past dull, glowing street lamps and across to a small wreck of a house.

"He was here the last time I saw him," Corelle explained.

"And this guardian. What sort of person is he?"

"Well, the Gaurdian isn't really much of a person but a ghost. We should tackle it when we know what it is and how powerful," Corelle said to the group. Celeste stepped forward.
"Where is it?"
"That is where I thought you could be of some help. You see it's between the Land of Living and the Land of The Dead. It's on that narrow plane," Corelle explained. " I figured that if anyone knew how to get to that line it would be you." Eve caught up to Corelle who seemed to be leading the group. She grabbed his arm and led him away.
"You guys continue on, we'll catch up in a minute," she said to the group while still holding Corelle's arm.

Celeste

Eve took Corelle aside for a moment and I took a few more steps before coming to an abrupt stop. Zora turned and raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I think we should go East instead," I replied, turning around and heading back towards Eve and Corelle who were now walking our way.

"East?" Zora prompted, following after me.

"East?" Corelle echoed.

"Yeah. There's a graveyard not too far away. That will make the spell a lot easier," I explained.

"So you can do it?" Eve asked, revealing no hint of what the private discussion had consisted of.

"Yeah. I can do it but I'll not bring him back to life."

"Could you do that too?" Zora demanded excitedly.

"That depends on your definition of life," I replied.

"We can't get it to come to us. We have to go to it. It won't move. So we actually need to get ourselves to the place where souls and spirits cross to get to the afterlife. Essentially, the Gaurdian is the sheperd," Corelle explained. The group headed East toward the graveyard.
"How do you know all of this?" Zora asked.
"I did my homework," Corelle replied with a smile.

*The idea you sent me in the PM about the whole cool concept of everyone forgetting temporarially, and the date and all jogging memories and such, you remember, if not PM me and I'll send it to ya.*
