Birds are pretty hard to shoot cuz they will never listen when you say 'Hey! Stay, I'll take a picture of you!'

And yet, here's my bird photography collection, presented especially on World Photography Day: 19th August.

1.

2.

3.

4.

this I know is a parrot among sunflowers, it's almost camaflouged!!

If you can identfy these, please let me know.

I have more and will be posting them soon.

What do you think of these?

First of all, I must comment... you have to uncheck "disable bbcode" if you want the pictures to show up. It should be on your post. Anyway, I fixed it for you.

Wow... these are good bird pictures! And haha, I saw the parrot. Very Happy These birds are Indian birds, so I am not quite sure what the names are...

First off- Happy Photography day!!!

OK, I love the last pic. It's so wild and colourful and it's lovely how the parrot is camouflaged!

The first picture is also very nice and has just the right amount of scenery around it.

Good photos!

1. This one is great! I love how the bird is just off centre and it's colouring is so interesting.

2. This is a brilliant close up! I like your use of focus and again, a great bird to photograph and a great position.

3. This isn't as interesting as the others but the contrast of the blue bird and orange flower is good. Perhaps crop the right and left sides a little. The right a touch more than the left.

4. It took me a moment to find the parrot and I like the sunflowers. Is the wooden object a little cart? It really adds to the photo.

Overall some really nice work and happy photography day!

Oh my gosh! There birds are GORGEOUS. I have 2 parrots [they're Macaws] and I LOVE them. You really captured there birds' beauty with the clarity of the colors.

Great job! I can't wait to see more.

1. I really, really liked. Gorgeous placement of the bird, and the brightness of the bird shows up wonderfully against the sky. Great shot!

2. Oh, lovely. It's so cute it makes me want to pat its head. A lovely photo, great way to do the closeup.

3. Not a brilliant shot, but I liked it anyway. What sort of bird is it?

4. Nice...sweet bird.

Good job! Most enjoyable.

Au revoir!

I'm impressed you managed to get a picture of these birds at all - and non-blurry ones at that! Very nice. Smile

The first one is cool, because the colors are so bright, but the second is my favorite. I like the close up view. The third I like because I think it's really cute when birds stretch out like that... hehehe, I'm a dork, I know.

But again, nice job on taking these!

1. I love this one, it looks like the bird was singing while you took it, I can imagine it chirping ^^

2. Is it the same type of birst as in the first? You got the focus there really well, I can even see the fuzzy little flicks on his beak, makes me want to hug it.

3. I like how the bird stands out, but the only thing I don't really like about it is that I can't see the bird's face, but then I suppose such a thing would be rather difficult to come by.

4. I saw the parrot straight away! There's one flying around here in the cold and wet I see sometimes that looks like that one O_o I like how it's bend over though, reminds me of the parrots at the zoo Very Happy

Great photos, Sohini ^^

A frequently asked question (among my friends at home), trust me all the photos have been taken from my home and aske anyone you like, our town is a very non-descript one but if you keep your eyes sharply open, you might get glimpses of beautiful birds, trees, and cats!!

The first one looks almost fake! It really does look digitized, pretty cool!

The second is the BEST of all of them!! Definitely great.

The third is okay, but not my favorite.

...I can't see the parrot in this one? I feel retarded......lol.
