Well I suppose I'm jumping on the bandwagon and just making one thread for all my art, like everyone else. So, here I will post Photography, Drawings, pictures of my ceramics and culinary arts (yes!) and such and such. =]

Okay, for this first set I took like a million pictures of the same powertower from the same parking lot, at different times of the day. I want to know which one is your favorite....

I must agree, the lake is good. I liked #3 and #1. Very good.

What a delicious looking cake. Smile And I think the fourth tower picture is the best.

I liked one, three and four best. The central angel of the first is good, the stormy sky of the third is brilliant and four has been cropped well to emphasise the mange aspect of the image. Some very nice work so far.

3, 4 and 6 of the tower-thingy are good, and the lake looks nice. And the cake... *drools*

I must say my favorite is the first one. It's almost cenetered (as in most of them it seems more off to the side) and almost looks framed with the plants on top and bottom. You can also see the verious shades of green really well in all the plants. Also because it's taken closer than most of the others.

The lake photo is also nice. Wonderful lighting on it. I really like how the front is bright and the background is dark.

As for that delisious looking cake.. that's the best Starwberry Cream Cake I've ever seen. XD

Well it's looks like it's 1,3, and 4 for the favorites!

And yes, I did bake the cake myself, with a recipe from FamilyCircle--they have great recipes.

Here is the next set. We took another trip to the lake this weekend and decided to take the boat back out to watch the sunset on a clear night. I know there is one picture that is severely crooked, but it was cool so I left it in here----you try taking a picture from a rocking boat!!! They are in order, as well...from when we got there to when we left.

1. This is probably my favourite. I like how the sun is centred in the photo. Very pretty.

2. The foreground of this one is nice with that little patch of light slightly seperate to the rest and the beam is sort of like an arrow pointing towards it. The landscape is nice in this one too.

3. I'm not as fond on this one. It's too close and the (what do you call it when you get the pink spots?) Anyway, that's really noticeable and sort of spoils the effect.

4. This one is beautiful. I love all the different colours in the sky and the water.

5. Too much sky in this one and the boat and people are distracting.

6. Great picture of the landscape as a silhouette and once again, the sky is awesome.

7. Good close up of the sky but it's better with the water there.

Keep up the good work, you take some really nice photos.

I loved the second one was focused more on the patterns in the water, while number five was all about those super-cool clouds. Those two stood out to me as my total favorites, but they're all pretty good. in #2, I think you could crop out even more of the sky. In fact, you should play a bit with the croppings, and maybe even the color saturation, on these to make them more "arty" than just pretty snapshots.

Oh, and that cake in the first post looks absolutely divine. Very Happy

Until next time,
Skye

So pretty! I really like them. Your choice of setting is great! I really dont know what to say. First one is my favorite.

Though, the date takes away from it a bit. Dont know if you can get rid of it or not but might be worth a try. Smile

1. Very picturesque. Those trees are beautiful and the buildings in the distance make for a really good background.

2 and 3. The second is best but the scene is very peaceful and the bridge is pretty.

4. I wish there were some flowers to add a bit of colour but the winding path is nice and I like the rough, brick all.

5. This is interesting. I love the stone bench and the lighting is perfect.

6 and 7. I think the angle of the first is the best but it lacks the pretty blue flowers of the second.

Overall, some really great pictures.
