A couple years ago, I would've said the Simpsons was my favorite cartoon, but it's going downhill. I don't even bother to watch the new episodes anymore.

Nowadays, my favorite cartoon is a tie between Futurama and Spongebob Squarepants. Family Guy ranks up there too, but sometimes it's just too random (more so than Spongebob).

Anyhow, what is everyone else favorite cartoon?

I like Futurama. I hardly get to watch it because it's on while I'm going to sleep, but I still like it. I also like the Fairly Odd Parents. Spongebob's cool.

I love Spongebob! We even have a Spongebob clock that sings every hour. That was my little sister's idea, but still.

I love watching cartoons. Due to my little sister's Disney Channel obsession, that's pretty much all that's on in our house. I used to love Nickelodeon, but it's sunk low. Very low. Some of the older stuff like Rugrats and Spongebob are still good, but I can barely stand to go there because of the stupid commercials and U-Pick Live.

I also like The Fairly Odd-Parents, but I've seen practically every episode so they get boring now.

I have to agree with Nate, although the Simpsons is still my favorite cartoon (and TV show for that matter), it is going downhill although its still funny.

Family Guy is pretty funny too, and very random, but it has a lack of episodes. American Dad (done by Family Guy creator) seems pretty funny, although its not out yet.

I also like Futurama, Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents.

I like Futurama and Family Guy. Futurama is more structured (though it has its own share of random jokes) which allows you to care more about the characters. So where Futurama can have something touching like its last aired episode (The Devils Hands Are Idle Playthings, I think), Family Guy could never do that because the show is a mockery of even itself.

Still, it is funny. I own both Family Guy sets on DVD and all four Futurama ones as well.

And I really don't understand the whole Spongebob Squarepants thing. Shocked

You have to have a youthful sense of humor and not take life seriously to like Spongebob. Cartoons is pretty much all we see at my house, too, since I'm the oldest and I don't really watch TV that much. If you include webtoons, then Bonus Stage and Homestar Runner are my faves. I also like Fairly OddParents. Cosmo is so funny.

I agree that the older episodes were better. (Homer: Bart, this i my house and as long as you live under my roof you'll do what I say, now butter your bacon!)The newer ones seem like they are just away to keep the show going.

Family guy is pretty funny.

A favorite cartoon? Who could forget Rocky and Bullwinkle? or The Pink Panther? The Lonney Toons? Cayote and Roadrunner? I like the old ones.

-Tom and Jerry (never got old for me)
-Rugrats, Scooby Doo, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when I was little
-Dragonball Z until it got too ridiculous

Right now, favorites are Family Guy and Cowboy Bebop (<--Japanese Anime about a Bounty Hunter in the future)

Did anyone see the Simpsons Superbowl Show? *Throws up*

I used to LOVE Dragonball when I was like 8 or 9. It was the best show ever, but then it got so stupid with Dragonball XT (or something like that) with all the weird weapons and super fighting and all that crap.

Most American cartoons are crap. The eighties were really the high point for American cartoons. Plus the shows based on comic books, like Spiderman and X-Men. But after than, they got bad. I love Reboot. It's the first all CGI cartoon ever made, and it's Canadian. Ha Ha.

I was severely offended when the Simpsons decided to do an episode where they went to Canada.
