Syra approached the tree-home warily. dragons were perched around, and swung their heads towards her as she came closer.
Looking around, she called out.
"Hey!"
A face looked at her. "Who might you be?"
"Syra. Dragonrider. I noticed you around and decided to check it out. I haven't seen another dragonrider in a while. May I enter?" |

"If anyone is has a dragon born or come to them," Riskid said, "then you are supposesed to be in automatic service to the king and queen. "Snolik and I were born together, so we were in service to them sine the day we were born. We wish to run away, but we can't. If I have the slightest chance the king and queen would be dead and me and Snolik would be far away."
Riskid stood up and walked over to Snolik and huggd him. "I just can't imagine a life without him."
"And I him," Snolik replied, "but we now have a plan since you are here princess." |

"And on top of all of that, if I were to go back for good I would never be able to see Namarhie again."
"You're not like other dragon riders are you?" Riskid asked, "if Namarhie died, or you died, the other would survive?"
"Quite opposite from that, we aren't bound like most dragon and dragon riders are. But if the other died, we would die as well, but from lonliness and a broken heart. We are bound by something stronger than magic." |
