Does anyone here know anything about the Midsummer celebrations in England or Ireland? Also, if anyone knows anything about Irish fairy lore, that could be potentially helpful as well.

If you're talking about midsummer celebrations in the present, they're not around in the mainstream any more, in the UK at least. I don't know about Ireland, though.

On the other hand, if you're looking for past events, there's a few bits and pieces of info on Wikipedia. Here are the links:

Midsummer in the UK
Midsummer in Ireland

Hope this helps

I know stuff about midsummers, being pagan and all, but anything more specific?

Likewise with the Irish fairy lore. I'd be like 100 pages if I threw all my fairy information at you. Shocked

BellaLuna, have you tried Encyclopedia Mythica?
(The Celtic folklore section is here.)

There's also the Irish folklore category section of Wikipedia. (Even if you don't trust it, you can skim it over and go to the sources themselves.)
