The challenge is to write an acrostic poem which is a poem where the first letter of each line spell the theme of the poem when put together. Here is an example -

Red ropes rising,
A light in the sky.
Indigo river cruising,
No one knows why.
Blue river flowing,
Orange fire glowing,
Which way is it going?

Only the RAINBOW knows.

The rhyming is optional but bonus points to any who can manage it sucessfully. As for prizes...

First - 4 critiques
Second - 3 critiques
Third - 2 critiques

And a critique for all who enter. Happy writing,

Heather xx

This was quick, but fun!

Livre*

Letters on a page,
In between two thick covers of
Various colors glare at me,
Reminding me that I must read;
Eventually…

*Livre is the French word for book

TIME

Throughout the Universe
It stretches, confusing and
Mysterious, on a par with the
Enigma of life.

Hey, when does this end...? I totally didn't ask, and you have no date.

Murdering with an act of creation,
Overflowing grief
Tempts the weary with beguiling
Hints of tender oblivion.
Extraverted facades of
Responsibility and care fool none.
