As you may know, the Young Writers Society and Teenage Writers (http://www.teenagewriters.com) have recently announced some sort of alliance with one another; sort of like sister sites. There aren't that many good young writer sites on the web anymore, so bonding the only two good ones out there together makes sense. Of course, you do have Absynthe Muse out there as well, but that site just strikes me as extremely weird.

For the moment, everything is only in the beginning stage. There may be some inter-site competitions and activities, and if you have ideas for any such activities, just let me know.

And if you see anybody wander over here from TW, be sure to give them a friendly hello!

I talked to both the people Nate and they do seem willing for it. I hope it works out.

First I've heard of it. But sounds cool! Perhaps I'll wander over there and take a look...

This seems like a good way to create growth and exposure for both sites.

Heya to everyone round here !

I'm Ducksworthy or Joe and I'm one of TWs Super Mods (we do the admin job there)

I'm the one that first put it to Nate to join up and after some dialogue, here we are Smile

I must say you'll all be welcome over at www.teenagewriters.com and I'd like to just reitterate what everybody over at TW has been saying that has come for a look: We're very impressed with your site!

The welcome I've received has been outstanding, and I'm very flattered!

Thanks for everything Very Happy

That "alliance" bit sounds so cool...Razz I've got to have a serious butcher's at this Teenage Writer's Site, from hearing so much about it. But how exactly would an alliance work? Would YWS and TW "fuse" together or what?

I've wandered over to TW. I liked it, and it seems nice, but YWS has such a strong hold on me I doubt I'll hang there much.

But I encourage the hookup! (zomg, YWS and TW should get married!)
