Some people are dark purple and a pinky-purple. Their names are, that is, not the actual person. Have I missed something blindingly obvious here? |

| Ah, that I can explain! Dark purple are Instructors. The lighter purple are mentors. |

| How long does it take to find out if you're going to be an instructor or not? |

| Usually, not long. But the site is undergoing a lot of upgrades at the moment, which puts some of the other administrative type stuff on hold. However, expect everything to be moving forward again after this weekend. |

I'm going to say as long as it takes Nate to PM you back about your application? And he's been slightly busy lately..hehe.
But, that's just a guess. |

Just something random, but nobody's answered this one:

Requests are refused, and will be refused for any number of reasons. Sometimes it's simply a matter of how consistently active a person is, or maybe there have been earlier bad incidents with the member. It may also because the person could be too new; all the current junior mods have been here for many months. All the current moderators have been here for years.
But for the right person, the age of their membership is not a problem. Our minimum is only one month after all. |

| I feel stupid for asking, but what's a mentor? |

Lol. Mentors don't exist anymore so really...it doesn't matter.
They were sort of like umm...useless? Ha ha, They were kind of like super instructors I suppose, but they were shot (er, taken out of commission?) and were replaced with Jr. Mods.
That sounds a lot more violent and mean than it really is xD |

| After you PM Meshugenah, Firestarter, or Nate, how long should you wait for a reply? And if you're denied, will you still get a reply, or are you just left hanging? |

Tassen >> yes, they can!
Writer >> it really depends upon how busy we all are. Plus, there is a selection process, and that takes time as well. However, with the bug problems, it may take a bit longer. |
