Aliena's blood was pounding in her ears. She was so unbelieveably busted.
They were going to take her to see the king? In the best case senario, she would lose her job, which she couldn't afford right now. In the worst case senario, she would be locked in a dungeon to rot for spying on the elite.
And to make matters worse, now there was a DRAGON. Who knew what part he played in this.
Dammit, she internally cursed again. She didn't fight as Ramza and the others escorted her away. |

((Aenda doesn't really have much against Aliena, Aenda is just mad because they're sitting around doing nothing, fallingstar. Just thought I'd let you know.))
Aenda surveyed the scene and shook her head slowly. This was bad. Very bad. In fact, it was getting worse by the minute. She had already evaluated everyone, and found that only a few would be an asset, the rest a hindrance.
"Need her help?" Aenda barked, "She's a commoner, not trained for battle."
She turned towards the girl, her flashing green eyes scrutinizing her. "You're better off picking beans and milking cows. That's what you were born to do, and that's what you are, common."
Aenda knew she was being mean, but she was angry right now, and she didn't really care. "So go back to your cottage, little milkmaid, and churn the butter before the milk sours." |

Revan was standing at the end of the hallway when a strange feeling crept over him. It was pity for the young woman who was in the middle of this. He then heard Aenda calling Aliena names. He had had enough. He turned around and literally melted into shadows. The shadows were the souls of those Revan had killed and they were whispering to each other. Revan slipped along in the midst of the group when he heard someone say something about hearing voices. He then materialized again in front of Aenda whose mouth was open in shock.
"Enough. I will not have this woman escorted to the king or being treated as dirt under your boots." Revan said to Aenda. "Let her go." Ramza released her. Everyone was silent until Kyles broke it. "What are you?" |

((fallingstar, I'm thinking you need to either have Aliena follow them secretly so they have to have her come with them, or think up a darn good reason why a commoner with no fighting experiance should go with them.))
"Of course we are leaving her here!" Retorted Aenda, still boiling over the fact that Revan had commanded her. Green eyes flashing, Aenda ran her finger through her fiery red hair and glared at Revan, daring him to argue. |

"I know what you're thinking Aenda but I'm not about to argue with someone like you. However, if you want to settle this dispute with an honorable bout between us, then I will happy to." Revan said to Aenda who was red in the face with anger. Aenda started to smile with disbelief but soon stopped when she learned that he was serious.
"Well, what say you, Aenda?" Revan asked her. She was speachless. Everyone around them was slightly taken back by this sudden outburst by Revan.
"Well, what if I decide to fight you?" Aenda asked Revan.
"Then I will give you the terms of the winner and the loser." replied Revan.
"I would like to fight you too." said Kyles.
"This is not between you and I." said Revan.
"I want to fight you. So I will. This will be no challenge at all. You have nothing to fight with but we have weapons." Kyles said with a cocky attitude.
"No, what you have are daggers and the hope that when you're done throwing them, I will no longer be standing. Because if I am, then you will be dead before you hit the ground." Revan said. His voice sent a chill through everyone. |

Kyles pulled his daggers out and licked the blade. "Well, we will have to find that out now won't we?"
The doors to the throne room flew open. The king stood there in faked grandeur.
"Is anyone coming or am i-"
Kyles reacted immediatly. He turned and flung a blade that fell from his sleeve. It didn't take long for him to realize his mistake. The king fell backwards in surprise, grabbing the bleeding cut on his cheek. He looked back, to see the blade quivering in the wall. A split second later, kyles was beside him, helping him to his feet.
"That was a bad mistake. I didn't mean for that to happen. Sorry."
The king felt the cut for a second longer in shock, then laughed. "It just proves to me that you all are suitable for the job i have placed upon you. All of you have different reasons for being here, different opinions on everything. However, that isn't important. What is important is this kingdom. That is why i have put the trust in you warriors."
Tassen was immediatly beside the king, mumbling a few quick words and healing the cut on the king's cheek."Well said, but still that was a close call."
Kyles grinned. "Good thing i didn't aim." |

| ((Everyone, I'm sorry, but I think everyone's character is just a little too powerful {mine included, yes}. Darchoco, I doubt the King would stand for that, and midnightwolf92, I have the feeling that if Aenda DID choose to battle with you, then Aenda would lose terribly and Revan would be victor that didn't break a sweat. Sorry I'm being such a picky person, but this is SO not realistic. And I'll admit, everyone has the right to post what they want to, just tell'n you though.)) |

| I'm sorry too....I just really get into things to much to the point where my brain totally shuts down and I can't think straight. And yes we do make mistakes. I mean we're only human.....or are we? Does anybody think that a person is totally human? |

| Piper shook herself out of her shocked silence. Quite disgusted by some of her companions behavior, she strode into the throne room, brushing past them without a word. The others took the cue and filed into the room behind her. |
