Something we did in school today. Basically you fill in the blanks with the right form of the word (Adjective, noun, adverb etc).

Orange ________ (noun/s)
Fly(s) _________ (adverb)
In the __________ (adjective)
Sky.

The __________ (adj) dogs
___________ (verb) in the
_________ (noun)

How _______ (adj)
My heart!
How _________ (adj)
My eyes!
Blue _________ (noun)
Move ____________ (adverb)

This is what I came up with.

Orange Tangerines, Satsumas,
Fly dangerously,
In the pretty
Sky.

The crazy dogs
Swim in the
Ocean.

How ugly
My heart!
How strange
My eyes!
Blue Rockets,
Move flittingly.

Quite strange and random, but I guess that is what this makes you do - think outside of the box.

I was trying to make it fit together, but the last stanza is odd.

A Blue Moon Night
By McMourning

Orange parrots
Fly ahead
In the darkening sky.

The vicious dogs
jump in the
kennel.

How heavy
My heart feels!
How watery
My eyes are!
Blue moon
Move away quickly!

EDIT: Yes, Gen. I loved MadLibs....I think I still have them somewhere around here... *goes off in search of them*

Orange sunsets
Fly belatedly
In the dying sky.

The anxious dogs
Cower in the havens.

How oblivious
My heart,
How blind
My eyes,
Blue skies move fearfully.

*this reminds me vaguely of mad libs. Does anyone remember mad libs? Its very similar except you find the nouns, adjectives, ect. before you see the text. When you fill in the spaces the result is usually pretty funny... that activity was used at my school to teach us what nouns and verbs are, I think we did it in grade two or three... Wow memories!*
