I should love to try!
I have tried to rewrite fairytales before, but never really got anywhere. Lack of deadline, methinks. Or lack of creativity. That is sad, because I am a complete fairytale fanatic. Anyhoo, if you hold another contest I shall most certainly try it! Will you? Won't you? |

Sorry about being slow! Ach, perhaps I should look at them today? Only problem: All my files are on my main computer....my main computer won't turn on because the power strip it is plugged into died. So now, even if I HAD the time to do it, I couldn't get to any of them. But I swear to you, the results will be out no later than Monday 
(I'm a horrible procrastinator, if you don't already know this about me, you know now)
As for the next contest: will do. |

I'd like to enter if you do another one. Things are just crazy busy right now and I haven't been doing very much writing because I'm a coward, but this might help get me rolling again, at least short story-wise.
I am looking forward to reading the entries from this contest, though! |

UPDATE
Okay... so I suck big time. Agreed. The results of this is going to be postponed and you do not know HOW sorry I am. I'm not sure when I'll be able to judge the entries.
Several things have happened to cause total mayhem:
1) My main computer, where I kept all the files of the entries sent to me, decided to freak out. I have NO idea what is wrong with it, something internal must have broke because when you turn it on, it makes loud grumble-y noises. (I assume the back fan is having issues.) I had it plugged right into the wall socket, which is apparently a big no-no. The upper wall socket doesn't work, AND my power strip (Which the comp. should have been plugged into in the first place...) isn't working fully. So, I have learned my lessons. Don't send me your entries! Post them -_- I would only be able to judge if all the entries (I don't even have a full list, I could only name a few, there were five or six) posted their stories. And that seems entirely impossible. My computer sucks, and hates me...
2) I'm going out of town for three days, and I doubt I'll have internet. Sure, it is only three days, but still, the contest ended like...two weeks ago. (What a looser I am xD)
So... I am COMPLETELY sorry. Worst case: my computer dies and this contest becomes void, in which case I will start another one and everyone can reenter with the same entries from before. Best case: my computer fixes, and I can judge soon.
You really do not know how bad I feel about this... my first contest, and my computer decides to die. The next contest will be postponed until I can complete this one (not to mention, people asking if I could wait until summer, which does sound like a good idea) and, also, in the next one, I'll probably require that you post your entries, so that this can never happen again.
Please don't kill me! It's my computers fault... |

I finally got a hold of the files. No one has seems to notice that I haven't announced the winners. But, before doing so, and before getting too ahead of myself, I want to makes sure I have everyones.
