Quite apparently, a drunk who was colour-blind mistook their shade and their size and called them grapes when he was thinking of wine.

Why is pattern a possible synonym for constellation, though not in all specifics or instances?

Imp would go mad, having the questions half-formed but incapable of existence caught in her mind and in her scattered notes.

No one would need a spring-cleaning, of course.

What proof? If the theory is correct, the proof is nonexistent. Therefore, you can't know one way or the other.

What percentage of people in the world have read 'The Lord of the Rings'?

What formula is used to ensure that 3+0=Kihaku?

Big Bird. If it went the other way, the world just couldn't go on. Besides... aren't there more annoying puppet people on Sesame Street than on Barney? Heck, for that matter, one look at most of the ugly things on Sesame street would be enough to kill most people...

My question: Why is it that people always post all of the interesting questions when I'm NOT on the Character Answer thread, and then when I am, someone asks something idiotic like "Can you spell your name?" or "What color are your eyes?" Confused

Why is the baddie of the mystery novels always the first person the detective meets after the crime is viewed?

Apparently (assuming this to be true) the writers of said novels are so lame that it's the only way they can think of to introduce their bad guy(s), or so lazy they don't want to take the trouble to think of a better way.

Why is Microsoft so $&#!@(*&(*@ that they couldn't make their blasted windows truly customizable?!
