I really want to enter... But! One question. Midnight on March 20th means the midnight between the 19th and 20th, or the 20th and 21st? Razz

Final Reminder:

To all who have planned to enter, the contest ends this Tuesday at midnight. (Though I have said I may be a little lenient with that Very Happy) Hurry, hurry! Get your entries in. Late-or-last minute is better than nothing! Wink

Extended Deadline to this Friday, possibly Saturday.

Because I love you all, and because several people have pmed me to ask if I would let them send things in late I'm giving until Friday/Saturday. [And because I don't feel like judging yet.] So if you thought you couldn't get it in...you have three/four more days! Best of luck.

Contest is Over

I may give some exception though, if you can send in what ever it is you have for me before I get online tomorrow, I'll take it.

So far I have four or five entries, I believe. Not exactly sure. Judging will be in the next week/week and a half. I should have the results up in at least a week. Everyone will get sent a private critique, as I mentioned before, and the winner will be announced in the thread. From there on, the winner will be given a nice point prize, and a month of critiques on anything they post in that given month by me.

Best of luck to everyone who entered! I may or may not try this again.

Oh darn! I would have loved to enter - I'm actually planning a novel on a fairy-tale adaptation and this would have been great practice (not to mention great fun LOL). If you do hold another contest Clau let me know pretty please and I'll try and get something together to enter Very Happy

Sorry Clau. I seriously couldn't get it done because of all the schoolwork I had. There just was no way for me to be able to write it, study for and take two Russian finals, and do all my other work. Best of luck to the entries, and pwetty pwease hold another contest like this! I really want to enter a story!

Ack, I'm sorry too. Schoolwork + being out of town for a couple days... Though, I'll certainly give it another shot if and when you decide to hold another of these contests!

Since so many people want another contest, I will hold another one Smile

As for judging... Yeah, I'm being extremely slow. So if you think you could manage to write something and sneak it in before Wednesday (That's probably when I'll start getting a chance to read over the entries) then maybe I'll let you in Very Happy

Ach, if I had any time, I'd enter as well. Perhaps you could out one on for the summer, Clau?

Well,

The plan was to keep doing it monthly (or so, perhaps every other month?) if I got enough people to enter, and it looks like a lot of people enjoy the contest and/or would like to enter it but couldn't, so maybe I'll keep this, or something...

I love fairy tales, so this is even funner for me.

Oh yes, do this monthly, and I'll have a bash at it! I didn't read this until it had finished, but I'd like to try. Smile *grey fluff between ST's ears starts to sizzle*
Um, how much of a rewrite has this got to be? Sort of like the Shrek films?
