In very little time, five prostitues have been killed in Suffolk, England. And he is now being compared to the infamous killer (which was bound to happen). I believe some have dubbed him as the 'Suffolk Ripper' and others as the 'New Ripper'. Although unlike his name sake, this killer doesn't mutilate his victims.

| I don't appreciate the tone of your title, Sureal. Have some respect. Somehow 'dun dun dun' doesn't quite cut it. |

| The title is not anymore sensational than regular media. I didn't find it offensive, mainly because that is exactly what people are thinking. I really don't think he meant it as a movie trailer. |

| Unrecompensed: Sorry if you found it offensive. I was trying to emulate the media (as can be seen in the opening and final line in my origional post). The 'dun dun dun' is pretty much what most of the media is coming out with anyway. |

Not as bad as the joke somebody made at work today.
"Do you want to come and play a game of Rugby in Ipscwich? I've heard they're short of hookers ..."
Terrible black humour. |

| Firestarter, I heard that joke too. It's amazing how fast jokes fly, even from Man. to Boro. |

| I'm pretty worried because one of my pals lives in Ipswich and she's the kind to hang around late at night drinking with her pals. She's not a prostitute, but then that never stopped the yorkshire ripper from killing my cousin-once-removed when she was on her way home one night. I suppose that's why I'm freaked the most, because it's already happened to someone I know O_O |

Oy, Fish. *hugs* That must be terrible.
I'm glad I live in the United States, for once, in any event. And very glad Kay lives in Malvern. Just in case. |

| Ah yes Ive read about this guy, australian papers call him the Suffolk Ripper. Quite a gruesome set of events really ... first time Ive ever heard of/ seen a serial killer being on the news. |
