Can you apply to be a Moderator? Nope. In fact, it will count against you if you do try to apply.
The Moderator staff chooses new moderators, and they do so based on the same guidelines outlined in the "Applications" thread in this forum. Typically moderators are people who have gone above and beyond in helping out people at YWS and have already offered their help with YWS before.
Moderators are responsible for maintaining civil discussions, ensuring that vulgar language is appropiately used, warning members when they are out of line, and at all times acting as a representative of YWS. |
