Maybe allow a bigger avatar to be accessable? Like I said, 6k is a little on the small side if you ask me. I like original avatars, so ones of the net is a must for me... as I hate running around with an avatar I see someone else have. Embarassed Tut!

Just added a whole lot more avatars, and I'm looking for more to add still. In addition to the General ones, that are kinda small, there are now anime, cartoons, animals, simpsons, and ornery boy.

Oh, yeah, I was wondering, what are usergroups? It says that on the little button at the top, but when I click it, it says there are none.

Usergroups are basically specific groups of users that have access to their own private forums. There's not any yet since there isn't that much of a need, but there will be some added as the board grows.

Of course, if a group of people want me to make up a private forum just for them, just pm me and I'll do it. Although, the groups should have at least five people in them.

Ok, thanks for explaining!

Um... can you make it so that guests can't access the post that have peoples stories and poetry on them, because I wouldn't want anyones work to be copied.

I'm hesitant to restrict guest access to the site because I'm worried that it might make some people less inclined to join. BUT, I'm much more concerned about pleasing members, so what does everyone else think about that?

Also, a lot of people are worried about copyright protection. Over the next day I'll work on adding little disclaimers that state all original work is the property of its author. Because of the forum nature of the site, I can't get it to be posted on new stories and poems, but I can make sure there's a conspicious copyright notice at the top or bottom of every page.

I think we should restrict access, because some might be coming to steal ideas or something. Or they'll see the idea and steal it. Then again, they could join for the purpose of seeing what's on the restricted boards.

I say restrict accsess, but only to the places where you submit poetry and pieces of writing for critiquing. That way, guests can still check the place out, but they can't read or copy our work.

Done and done.

Although guests will be able to view that the poetry, story and storybooks forums do indeed exist, they will not be able to open up any of them. However, they still have complete access to "Weclome," "Writing Resources," and "General Discussion."

If anyone has any problems with anything, let me know.

Oh, yeah. I meant restrict access to the story and poem boards only(sorry for not making myself clear). If everything was blocked, they wouldn't know what this board was like!

I've got a suggestion. Zzap seems to have heaps and heaps to edit lately, and we've only got 20 something members. Maybe we should get some more people to volunteer for an editing position. I try to critique as do many others, but my grammer sucks, I would make a really bad editor. If it wasn't for that I'd volunteer myself. (sorry, I'm suggesting so many things lately) As our numbers increase we could probably get enough editors for one per section (fantasy, sci fi, romance etc.) but the whole system will fall on it's head if it's only zzap. So what do people think?
