| I googled writing forums and BAM! Picked up this site. I looked around and thought "sweet!" so I stuck around. |

Mine's pretty similar to Crysi's and Mesh's answers. Nate advertised in the Young Fantasy Writers site, and I joined straight away. Hehe, hence me being the 3rd member to join. It's pretty different now though. SOOO many more people here now. It used to be so small... Ah, memories... |

Once upon a time, in a place called Dallas, there lived a girl named Azrael. One day, she had her friends, Mister Waffles and Black Sheep, come over. As Azrael and Black Sheep frolicked on the floor, Mister Waffles was on the computer. He pulled up a site called Young Writers' Society and showed it to his playful friends. Days later, the girl known as Azrael signed up and "poof", here I am writin' this corny lil' story. The End....by Azrael. |

I found this site through the top 101 Sites for Writers in the April 2006 issue of Writer's Digest.
This site is great! I've only been here for two days, but I already feel at home.
Although no one has reviewed my fan-fiction yet. *wink wink nudge nudge* |

Did you know that RK teamed up with this other site? Writing Junior or something of that nature. It's just like this site, only this site is MUCH better with the whole updating of the site and adding new things. As well as members. Anyways, it was on RK where I found out about the site. But it wasn't until I searched for new writing sites on Google that I actually visited. And here I am... |

I honestly don't remember. I think in the time that I joined here I joined a bunch of other (not so good, naturally) writing forums, so I think I was just googling for places like this. I remember one forum I joined had like three members, and another required me to actually attach Word documents to my posts instead of just posting stories, so obviously I stayed with this particular forum.
I was a writer/poet living at a musicians forum. That forum is dead now, so I live here.
...and I lived happily ever after. |

| The Writer's Digest at its finest. The articles are really starting to slack off, but at least I got 101 Best Websites for Writers out of it. I found the little line about YWS and shouted passionately at the magazine, "You're perfect!". Okay, I didn't really shout, but I immediately wanted to check it out and after some haranguing my parents for a bit I secured permission to give this a try. Best thing in my writing career so far. Absolutely love it. Thank WD. :lots_hearts: |
