Whats your favorite band or rapper or instrumentalist?

Favorite style music (be specific, don't just say"rock" say something like ""early punk rock" or "70s hard rock".

My favorite kind of music is 70's and 80's hard rock and classic rock. Favorite bands: Guns n roses (old, 8_-93') Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, The Who, Ac/Dc, and Poison.

I have no idea about genres of music, I don't really class them that well.

Fave bands are:

Ash
Feeder
The Libertines
The Killers
Franz Ferdinand
Oasis
Green Day
Peachy (friend's band)

Btw, I already started a music thread. But no worries.

Yeah, I don't like rap. I am just not into it, and I HATE Eminem so, yeah.

Id have to agree with you on rap. I dont like any of it. Its just not appealing to me. Then again, I dont like many modern/mainstream bands/music so I guess Im in the minority. I love 70s and 80s music, thats why I named myself after a Van Halen song, IceCreamMan. Its a great song imo

Yeah, I love Van Halen and that song. But Aerosmith is one of my favourite old rock bands.

Led Zeppelin is the best old rock band...and Jimi Hendrix. Bob Marley is awesome.

My favorite band beyond the shadow of a doubt always has been....
The Beatles
I'm also really fond of
Nirvana
Nine Inch Nails (If Beatles is #1 NIN is #2)
Johnny Cash
Led Zeppelin
Rasputina
Iced Earth
Blind Guardian
Social Distortion
The Doors
Pink Floyd
Garbage
Lacuna Coil
Evanescence (although I'm getting alittle tired of the song's from the first album. They need a new one!)
Vanessa Carlton
Sublime
Reel Big Fish
Save Ferris
Cherry Poppin Daddies
Brian Setzer Orchestra/ Stray Cats
and my most recent discovery Dresden Dolls!!!

Those are the one's I can think of off the top of my head. There's probably a bunch I'm not thinking of.
