About Miss Ching
Hey! I'm a Chinese born Canadian girl who's going into grade 10 in September.
I've liked reading and writing since I was really little. I used to write short stories for school about the adventures of my friends and myself. I've tried to write other stories out of school but I never finish any. I have serious writers' block constantly.
Though reading became something really lame to most people after they'd learned how to (so after grade 1), I've always loved reading. I learned before others so maybe that's made a difference? I'm not sure but I really don't understand what's so "geeky" about reading. I think most people associate it with school and work, but I don't. I read every single day and that's more than other people can say.
Oh and here I'd like to add how I'm not a nerd. Even though I'm a straight A honor student. I'm really not a nerd haha.
I suck at spelling.
I'm afraid of loud noises.
I still need 2 hours of community service in order to graduate high school.
My favourite genres of fiction are mystery, fantasy, and historical fiction.
Right now I'm obsessed with classics like Emma by Jane Austen.
I've lost count how many times I've read Harry Potter.
I used to be just as obsessed with Twilight as any other teenage girl until the movie came out. I've never watched it and I never will... I hope.
My mom wants to read Twilight. Whoa.
I'm so lazy. I can't continue anything. Not diaries, blogs... nothing. But that doesn't bother me. Not a lot anyway.
I love chocolate. I could eat it everyday and still love it.
