Unfortunately, I was rejected from Swarthmore. :? It does kind of suck...I prepared myself for rejection but I was hoping for at least a deferral because I do think I was a qualified applicant, but hey, it's an incredibly selective school and I'm sure they admitted a bunch of really great people. Part of that, I guess, was demographics...being white, female, and from NY does not help much when you're applying to liberal arts colleges. But...whatever. Just wait for the next round! Now I'm looking at Wellesley and Kenyon, both of which are super-awesome as well. :)
