Um...thanks for the long and extremely critical crit. I've never really written poems like that before (or poems really at all, actually) and I just thought I might give it a shot. ^^ There are a few things, of course, I'd completely disagree with about in regards to the metaphors and such, and I think you misinterpreted parts of it. That's probably the only time anyone's ever going to see me post a poem...I'm in more of the sci-fi department, but thanks again!
Europe is cool! Hah. Yes, "I don't want to" would be "Je ne veux pas" ^_~ French is hard to spell though, understandable. Their silent letters and strange sounds!
I've heard of Piaf because there was a movie made about her, but I have yet to see it. The only French artist I know is Camille something-or-other. She did a song for the movie Ratatoulle, hah, so I found her online. Some American music is incredible, but I foreign music...there's just something to it. It would be better if I could understand them, but it is exciting to listen to something and realize that you know what they're saying through your own skills.

Whatever. They're both good. BJM was just a little too... gritty for me. I mean all the characters were despicable which made me not care for any of them. I felt bad for them but I didn't care for them.
"Je no ve pas" <-- that one makes no sense to me? Is that phonetic? XD I think you mean Je ne veux pas, but I have no idea!
I don't know much French music. At this point I don't remember why I'm learning it, but I am, so might as well continue. I'm also in my first year of German, which is going outrageously slow...

True, but... Harold and Maude is still better.
Have you seen any other things by the guy who made BJM (I can't remember his name right now...)? I've seen [the] Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and Orchid Thief. I think there was one other, but I can't remember it right now.
Have you seen King of Hearts? It's a French comedy--wonderful anti-war film and hilarious to boot.
A Thousand Clowns is also hilarious.
And I love Charlie Chaplin's The Kid
But I don't spend all my time watching movies... really, I don't!
Hah Speaking of the culture contest, that is going to be hard for me. I'm a quarter Polish, but culturally, I'm 100% born and raised American. XD I wish I had more Polish culture, but I really don't. So we will see what happens.
Russia is neat. I read a lot of Russian literature, so that's why I'm into it. Yes, I wasn't expecting Israel to be like.. mall after mall, and then, oh look! another tourist trap! Just the meaning behind the place, the feel of it. Heck. Jerusalem is there. If anything, I would want to go to Jerusalem. But even so, seeing some place completely different than my own, a different culture, all of it, would be so exciting.
You should teach me Hebrew phrases and I can teach you really poor Russian! haha. I know a few phrases here and there, same with Polish. I speak more French. >_>
No, hah, I'm not Jewish. I'm just really open? Hah, when it comes to religion I have no hard feelings towards any really. I don't even know what my denomination is, just something Christian I guess. I believe in God and pray at night, so, it works out.
As your refrigerator, hm? That's a good way to put it, hah. I would love to learn Hebrew... I'm going to study Russian in school, so I don't know when I will get a chance to learn it, but I'm a complete language nerd. I'm also considering going into diplomacy, so who knows, maybe I will learn it that way!
I would love to visit Israel. They had a lot of pictures at the Embassy, and it looked like such a beautiful place. We'll have to go together, then you could be my tour guide!
So you're Israeli? Do you live in Israel? Sorry, I'm an inquisitive person. ^_^ For the trip I took to Washington, D.C. I got to go to the Israeli Embassy. That was really cool! I didn't know that much about the country before, and now excited about it, and pushing for peace and all of that. Hebrew is also an amazing language. I completely forgot how much I wanted to learn it until I went to the embassy and heard them speaking it, haha. I had a pin with the American and Israeli flag on my bag until it fell off... >_>
