iheartbooks: Hey everyone! I just wanted a little help. I'm thinking of possible showing one of my poems to some of my friends, I haven't yet. I'm very self-concious of my work and I'm not sure if they'll like it. Anyway, if you could go to my profile and take a look at some of my poems and PM with the name of the poem you like the best. Snoink: Teehee, don't worry, I recognized your name as being an older one.
You know how we used to have instructors and greeters, with the colored names and everything? Well, we got rid of that system! Basically, what was happening was that our instructors and greeters were getting stressed and over-worked, so they kept dropping out of YWS permanently. Not fun! So we created badges to give our members recognition without making them completely stressed out.
Nominations are made by YOU guys. So, it's peer-nominated! This makes it easier for people to get recognized... let's face it, the old system was hard on the moderators.
And you can nominate people using this page: nominations_info.php
There should be an explanation of nominations on there too.
