Buddy Up

Looking for a partner to help you with your writing? Looking to help someone out with theirs? Look no further.

Kind souls without writing projects of their own but willing to aid those with such projects are always welcome.

How Things Work

Make a post on the Wall advertising your writing project. In the advertisement, include:

- a brief summary of the entire project (as currently planned)
- the genre(s)
- estimated/actual length (wordcount)
- a link to the project (if posted on YWS)
- what areas (if any) you would like your buddy to focus on
- what genres you prefer or not to read

If you have an overview of your work already posted in the Writers Corner, feel free to post a link to it as a supplement to or substitute for the summary.

When replying to an advertisement, include:

- all the details in your own ad (or a link to it) if you're planning on a trade
- your reviewing/writing strengths
- a rough availability schedule

Keep in mind that just because you offered to be a buddy, that does not mean your offer will be accepted.

If your offer is accepted, it's recommended that you discuss the terms of the partnership through PM.

Once you've got a partnership set up, you can either create a thread on the Discussions Board, or you could create a Club of your own to help coordinate your trade (or whatever system you decide on).

So what're you waiting for? Start buddying up!

Rules

None at the moment, aside from common sense and general respect. Don't make me make more.
